I don't have a guide. It should be in your router if you are on a typical home network. Look in network setting on your router for DNS settings.
Getting back to the original topic from the OP, we really need more tutorials and how-tos for topics like this. I installed Maker API and I'm able to see the json data returned to my browser when I enter the url strings. But it's worthless unless I'm able to process it into html and display it as I wish. I'm an entry level programmer with javascript etc, but I'm a bit lost as to how I can read and write data via the api. I have a webserver running via EventGhost on my HTPC and I'd like to add content from Hubitat on a Home Status page that I have coded. Where's the best place to learn how to do this?
