Dumb Ceiling Fan with retractable blades?

I have two dumb ceiling fans (Bedroom and Living Room) looking like this:

They works just fine and perfectly controlled by Zigbee Inovelly Blue Fan/Light controller with potentially 255 possible fan speed settings (I am using only 4 speeds in my automations).
So fans are fine but a bit bulky. My wife asked if we can replace them with something modern looking and with retractable blades. There are gazillions of fans/lights combo which will satisfy a visual requirements. But the problem is - all they are equipped with Remote Controls. But I don't need that remotes. I want a dumb one which could be controlled the same way. The question is: Is it a dumb Fan/Light combo unit with retractable blades? Or if Remote Control device could be easily removed and replaced with existing Inovelly controller? Using existing Inovelli controller is a must.

First, you will want to be sure it is not listed as a DC motor (if not specified as DC it is probably AC). Second, check the manual for it and look for the wiring instructions. You should be able to tell if it has a canopy module from the instructions. If it has a canopy module there is a high chance you could rip that out and replace it with your Inovelli module.

Some new fans now have integrated remote modules which may not be as easy to bypass. I think the newest one I added had the integrated module.
