A strange one, but going to throw it out there. Can i run two zwave sticks out of the hub, with differing locals? i was an early adopter of zwave devices here in Aus, but now want to run both US and Aus and interact with them both.
is the solution 2 hubs? or will that not work at all?
or has no one tried?
I would suggest emailing support. I would expect the answer be that you must have a second hub since the Zwave settings page is setup for aa single stick. If you purchase the second hub you could use the HE to HE app to integrate the two hubs.
Yes, you can run both using two hubs. We have one customer in Australia who has ordered that combination. One hub would run the US version with the US stick that includes Zigbee and US frequency of Z-Wave. The other hub would run the AUS Z-Wave stick. The two hubs can be connected with a pair of built-in apps (Link to Hub, and Hub Link), so that the devices on the AUS hub would show up on the other hub, so that automations could include both kinds of devices.
This can be ordered on our website at hubitat.com. US hub at normal US price ($115 USD), and the AUS hub with no Zigbee ($124.95 USD), plus $35 shipping.
Iβve read in some threads in the ST forum that Australia and New Zealand authorities actually do care about unlicensed use of regulated RF frequencies.
Donβt know what that means about the real world risk of enforcement activities, but FYI.
