The Elk security alarm panel has a network interface via it's device M1XEP. It allows for full control of the Elk.
In the vera controller, a plugin creates all the Elk's outputs, zone sensors, and tasks as devices in the Vera dashboard.
Elk is a widely used panel especially among HA systems.
Many Elk devices (presence detectors, door/window sensors, motions, fire) are important with the HA controller to send/receive states for controlling lighting, heating, window shade, environment and door functions.
I am not a coder, but I can supply the Vera plugin xml and json files used to create the ELK 2.0 plugin for refrence.
I would like to see a driver for Hubitat so the Elk can be used.
