I was able to persuade Claude to do some reverse engineering and it looks like we might have a driver for this that supports standalone scheduling, as well as automated feed triggers (if you choose to use RuleMachine instead).
My other favorite feature: child-lock to disable the hardware buttons. I'm sure our hungry buddy would learn how to press them very quickly.
