Download Failed trying to upgrade to latest version

Can not upgrade, it downloads 100% then says download failed or " Could not download latest update, please try again later." . Tried soft restore etc, said continue with current version.

It is able to download then it tries to verify and fails. I have already tried switching to Auto negotiate speed and also tried fixed 100 option, neither worked. I have 1Gig connection and pretty stable network.

Currently running version: 2.3.8.139

New version available: 2.3.9.174 (version that I was trying to upgrade to).

Running platform version: 2.3.8.139
HW version: C-8

Any one facing this issue ? Any workarounds ?

Can you try downloading it from the diagnostic tool (Settings -> Diagnostic Tool)? That will download the new version only, it will not install it. But once downloaded successfully, you can then use the "Restore Previous Version" feature in the diagnostic tool to upgrade to that version (it will allow you to pick from a list of available versions to restore).

I tried downloading it as suggested from Diagnostic Tool, but it goes till 95% then throws an error "Could not download latest update, please try again later". I have tried this multiple times now with same results, consistently throws the error at 95%.

Go into Settings tab, then Networking. Change your connection speed from Auto to 100M or 100M to Auto.

This has fixed this error in the past.

Thank you for suggesting, but I tried it first numerous time, did not work.

I am still waiting to update the firmware, any other ideas ?

Have you tried a new/different ethernet cable, plugging into a different port on your router, or rebooting all of your network equipment? Have you completely shut down and power cycled your Hubitat hub?

Just trying to narrow down things before we involve support.
