Down - no reason

Came home tonite - for the first time in months to a dead house. No reason. Just Hubitat dead. Reboot fixed it, damn c8. wtf.

Well. stay too long on HE. now?

Do you have your hub reserved in your router?

My Domain Controller takes care of it - dhcp and dns records both.

The only thing I personally changed is recently (in the last 3 days) I began implementing InfluxDB2 logger app to write out to an influxdb on my NAS which seems to be working rather well.

2nd crash last night - about 8h 47 mins ago. hub light green, just - dead. nothing in logs.
I haven't touched the IP settings since last year - no need afaik (and no desire - dhcp handles it all).

@jshimota Do you have anything on the network doing jumbo frames?

When the hub comes back up, do the past logs show anything?

I had a similar issue on the C-8 this morning since I had not re-authorized Ring after migration. It was spamming the logs with failures every second and eventually had used up all the file handles. Apps stopped responding in the middle of the night, the UI was throwing 500s when I logged in, and a few minutes later stopped responding at all. The cause was clear from the logs.

took at look at the logs and don't see anything wierd at all. Other than the 2 crashes things are normal - db size etc.

Jumbo frames - nothing has changed in my network since adding a laptop in november.
