Hi Folks,
Just curious if everyones Door Status Tile isn't showing battery status? All my doors are battery operated devices and the device itself is receiving the battery levels but its doesn't display on the dashboard tile. If I switch the tile type to contact or window, then it will show up. Would be nice to have that level in the tile the same as all my windows. Or is their a setting I am missing?

Do you mean lock? If so what lock and what driver are you using?
I'm guessing the OP's reference is using a contact sensor as the door-open device, but is selecting "Door Status" as its display template in that Dashboard tile.
I just ended up using the "Contact Sensor" template to get battery status for my Sensative Strips after initially discovering the same lack of battery status when I first used "Door Status".
Sorry, I should have stated it is a contact sensor. And yes, its fine as a contact sensor, but I wanted the visual representation of a door open and closed. So it sounds like the battery information is not on yours as well?
Right, no battery info when selected as "Door Status". I primarily access my dashboards on a smaller phone (iPhone 8), so all of my tiles are pretty small. I don't use Icons or Template Name labels in any of them - I primarily relay on colors to indicate state instead.

You could overlay the door tile with an attribute tile to show the battery level with a little additional CSS and probably get what you want. For example this is a set of 3 tiles (2 attribute, and the lock tile):
Ohhhh, ok, that's pretty cool. I must have a read up on how to overlay tiles!
