Does the device support or is it possible to have dome siren beep for set duration of time while arming/disarming delays? Under device settings it lists “alarm delay beep” It is set to on but doesn’t work. The siren upon breach works correctly and I have a chime set for when garage door opens. That also works correctly. Do I have to set an Audio alert “message to speak” within HSM?
No, you can't. You could try to do a beep delay repeat while HSM is in delayed arming away but it won't be exact.
What command are you using to turn the siren on? The "on" command and "both" command should use the beep delay setting, but this device is really unreliable with Hubitat so .
You can select the device as a chime and use playSound(#) to play the specified sound # the repeat number of times specified in the settings.
Based on the length of the chime and number of times it repeats you should be able to get it close to the duration you want.
Then you should be able to either send the stop/off command when successfully disarmed or activate the siren if it isn't.
You can just use the Beep command as a custom action in RM.
