Dome Door & Window Sensor Pro

@mike.maxwell I just purchased which I assume is the latest version of the dome dmdp1 (door and window sensor pro). It paired fine, but was detected as a "device" so I thought I would post the fingerprint info so you can update the system driver for it.

For clarity's sake, does it operate as expected after switching the device handler to the generic zwave one?

Didn't try using the generic zwave driver since it has a specific driver.

I would expect that this would probably work off the bat just by changing the handler(possible exception being the temperature) . The "Device" handler is just what something gets joined as if the fingerprint isn't entered into a device handler to catch the device on join.

Perhaps this DTH that @krlaframboise made is what you were referring to?

No, hubitat was a built-in system driver for this device. No need for "user" drivers if I understand it correctly.

How has the dome door sensor been working for you? It's on sale (17.95)and I'm considering getting a few from the smartest house.

TIA

@Rxich I have a few of these and they work great. Distance between magnet and unit can be as much as 3/4" - 1" which is better than most. Fast response. Battery life seems to be good also. That is the best price I have seen for it.

Ya, they are good sensors, I still prefer zigbee devices, but they're probably one of the best z-wave plus sensors I've used especially if you don't have a lot of room for bulky magnets or as @razorwing mentioned, need to position the magnet unusually far from the sensor.
