Does the NY Times Wirecutter understand that you don't need the cloud?

We are forced to use the ISO definitons of those words:

  • "shall" indicates a requirement
  • "should" indicates a recommendation
  • "may" is used to indicate that something is permitted
  • "can" is used to indicate that something is possible, for example, that an organization or individual is able to do something

Yup, we were "ISO-ized" as well, and I had co-workers who took ISO certification classes.

$4!?! Way over my budget.

I bought my first "big boy" bike w/money I'd saved from Christmas, birthdays and endless chores when I was 10 in the late 60's. I had saved just over $30 in a small glass piggy bank. $28.99 for the sweetest black 3-speed you ever saw in your life. Like this, only black frame, seat, grips, trim, etc. Look at all that chrome!! No way I was going to spend $4 of my bike fund on a watch! Now a pair of X-Ray glasses...that might be worth a few bucks....

strategically place extenders from your home to your destination so you'll still be in your mesh anywhere you go

Like Amazon Sidewalk without the Orwellian aspect, right?
