Can someone tell me if hubconnect still works with Smartthings? I had to replace me server hub with a new hub all went well until I tried changing the hub address and key in the new Smartthings app the app will not let me enter anything so I was wondering can you connect new hubs in the new Smartthings app? and if not is there any other way to do the same?
It still works. Just reinstalled and setup mine yesterday (without turning on the ST hub) to test some things with Arlo. Just make sure you're using the v2 release.
ok can you share how you set it up, I had to replace my server hub when I went into the new smartthings app and went to smartapps it would not let me do anything no options to setup.
Used the graph IDE (https://graph-na02-useast1.api.smartthings.com/ for me) to do the code install on ST. That put it into MyApps so that I could add it from the SmartApps tab in ST iOS. At that point I had access to the settings in the ST app.
ok thx again it just showed up in my smartapps been trying all day long im thiniing now its now letting me save the key, probably cause I didnt upadet my HE hubs apps to 2.0. oh well smarthings is just becomng a pain to deal with only keep it around because of my arlo cams thinking about getting new cams dealing with smartthings is just to much of a chore now adays
I keep waiting for my Arlos to die, but they just keep on going. I’ve been using IFTTT to arm/disarm and Alexa to send me the motion events, but am playing around with HubConnect again to see if I can combine the activities given ST’s “new” integration with Arlo.
Yeah I have gotten to the point where I hate smartthings so much i'm about to give up on my arlo's. I have been playing around with the Wyze Cam V3 i've been using Alexa to send me voice motion alerts with that, I think i'm going to go with a hombrige connection to connect some of those instead of the smartthings arlo connection you should really try the new Wyze cam i'm realy enjoying it it's not wireless but i like to have my cams powered all the time anyway.

I set it up I believe las month after the last smartthings outage left my wife looking at me with the evil eye when she couldn't control any of the lights for 2 hours, Someone else tried to convince me to do a node-red install i looked I got confused I gave up.
LOL setting that up now although I am more of the old school just let me code it by hand type.
@biggkatt01 if I read this right, you are using Wyze Cam 3 with Homebridge plugin? If so how? I have the Wyze also and really like the new V3 Cams. The node red is really pretty easy to use once you get the hang of it, I know there a learning cure but I been using it for about a year and it been rock solid for me and the only issues is usually something that I did. You should try it there are a lot of examples in the community and they are easy to use. You just copy and paste.
