Do Virtural Z-Wave Devices Count Toward the 232 Limit?
What’s a virtual zwave device? FWIW, virtual devices and zigbee devices do not count toward the 232 zwave device limit.

Be sure to use a “Virtual” driver type when creating virtual devices, not Zigbee or Z-wave drivers. Virtual devices are equipped with additional commands that be called to change the state of a virtual device. Zigbee and Z-wave devices rely on a physical devices to transmit those updates.
