Like in a garage with an open door and nobody in it?
Never tried it, but I doubt it.
If I get bored over the holidays I will try it with one of my mmwave sensors.

Not that I'd rely on it to, say not let an automation close the door on a running car, lol.
Just curious.
Iām guessing that the metal hood would defeat the mmwave from sensing the movement of the engine, but with the engine running, the car itself might vibrate enough to keep it active. I recently discovered that my Linptech sensors are sensitive enough to pick up a small analog clock on the wall.
