Disabled inside rule when nothing marked as disabled

C8-Pro/Latest

I had a rule that had nothing disabled in it...yet listed Disabled at the top of the rule when editing it.

I tried cutting everything and then pasting it back in the same rule and nothing changed.

I published it all in the clipboard and pasted the clipboard into a new rule. The Disbabled notation never showed in the new rule.

Is there an easier way to clear this error?

Can you share a screenshot of what you were seeing? I cannot think of anything in RM itself that would show that phrase.

Created a quick rule to show the same since I've fixed this by the process above. I had nothing disabled and it showed this

By checking the box in the "X" column, you are disabling that particular action.

The "X" column is used for disabling (you can hover over the X column header to see the helper text = "Disable or Enable Actions").

Simply uncheck that box, and the "Disabled Action" label and red text should go away.

That's just an example I created today to reply.

I'd already fixed the rule with the problem where it's been showing that now for a month or two with nothing selected.

I'm just asking if there was a better way to fix it than what I did. I expected others to have seen it before, since things like that are rarely single occurances for end users..

Ah, that's where.

I haven't seen any similar reports, and my attempts of guessing at how to reproduce were not successful (including things that I might consider unusual cases that might trip it up, like disabling an action and then deleting it). If you can figure out a particular sequence of steps that reproduces the problem, that's probably what it would take to figure this out.

Assuming the rule was still working correctly, I wouldn't worry about this; if it's not, the log entries generated by the rule with (at least) Action logging enabled would be of particular interest. If you do want to "clear" it, what you did is probably the only way, unless you maybe tried other tricks like disabling and re-enabling some other action just to see if that changed anything.
