The disable function isn’t working properly in Rules. I have a rule that was not working properly when it rained and I checked the box to disable and it keeps on going no matter what. Even after 10-15 minutes it wouldn’t disable. I rebooted hub, tried updating the rule and still when you check it it just kept going. I ended up changing the trigger on the rule to keep it from running over and over. Running latest version.
look at the device associated with the rule and see if that device is in use by anything else.
It is always useful to post a screenshot of the rules so that the boffins on here (not me BTW) can have a quick look and advise.

The device is not in use by anything else.
The problem is not the rule but the fact that you cannot disable the rule in Rule Machine.
How are you trying to 'disable' it?
Pause, stop or some other way.

Clicking the red check box next to the rule to disable it.
Ah OK. I've only ever used pause and now use stop.

Thanks. Never say that until now. That might do the trick. Thanks
