Disable power save mode for Ring Keypad v2 (community driver)

Hi all,

I have 3 Ring keypads on my HSM. All keypads are powered. They do not run on battery. The Ring Keypads are shipped in power saving mode enabled.

Power saving mode causes 2 issues.

  1. When one of the keypads is sleeping, communications can fail and block the other keypads from operating. In other words, if the first keypad fails to communicate (red light on keypad), disabling the alarm may be significantly delayed or may require a visit to a secondary keypad.

  2. The mode lights turn off when there is no motion.

The power mode can be set with the Ring Alarm panel and ap, but cannot be set by the community driver. Is there any insight or patch to set the keypad's power mode?
