Dimming relay

I have a situation that I need a dimming relay install for a couple retrofit applications. Both are closets. One will have 2 adjustable 3 inch can lights. The other will have led strips ran up the side of the closet. The closet with the down lights are dummy switched. I would love to do the can lights and the led strips. So would need a 2 120v dimming relays. And 2 rgbw relay in 120v in 12v or 5 volt out. I won’t really use the rgbw part but the output voltage needs to be 12V or 5v. I am going to try to fit each one inside of the can lights box. If I can’t on the first closet I’ll install at the switch. I don’t care z wave or zigbee. My question after all that is what relays?

First, just a correction that a "relay" never dims. It's litteraly a contact that closes and completes that circuit.

What you're looking for is called a dimmer or dimmer module.

Compatible devices list is a good place to start.

If you're looking for in-wall dimmer, the list of choices is long. If you're looking for a dimmer module, off the top my head...

Sunricher/RGBGenie (Z-Wave)
Aeotec Nano dimmer modules (Z-Wave)
Shelly Dimmer 2 (WiFi)

That e plains why I wasn’t finding any dimming relays. I should have put that together knowing what a relay is. Just never dawned on me. Thanks I’ll start there.
