You are describing my panel before I labeled everything… And I was just helping a friend the other week install a new doorbell. I prefer powering off if possible - do you think doorbell was labeled on the panel? One guess…

Yeah, and for most homes built since the 70s this stuff is all laid out on the drawings. So why isn't some journeyman/women given the job to print some labels or put a master key list in there with numbers!
