I've got a C7 hub, had some initial trouble pairing some ZWave devices and ended up with a few ghost nodes (no in/out clusters). Refresh/removed them no problem. So, AFTER I've done this (of course), I've read that one of those might have been the hub node (I don't remember what the node designations were, of course). But now I'm also reading that the hub node may be hidden to prevent dummies like me from doing what I just did. There doesn't ~seem~ to be any problems with the hub, so I'm hoping that I didn't mess anything up. I'm running firmware 2.2.7.126. Any guidance - did I dodge a bullet or create havoc? If the latter, how should I resolve?
If the hub is communicating with your devices you're more than likely fine, but:
Let's start with, how did you remove them? If just using the Zwave Details page, you should be safe as it won't give you the option to remove node 01 - 05. If you used a Zwave Stick, it is possible to remove the lower nodes but generally it will wreak all sorts of havoc with the hub (particularly when you subsequently remove the stick).

Yeah I just used the ZWave details page and everything seems to be in working order. Bullet dodged? Iām a leap before I look kind of guy sometimes haha!
