HI, I have a Jasco dimmer switch. The room has a motion rule that turns the switch on for 2 minutes whenever I walk through, and another rule to disable the motion rules if I physically turn the switch on (and enable motion when physically switched off.) The logic works as desired... as long as the switch correctly reports digital vs physical activation.
I'm using the community driver, and as long as I configure the device periodically, the switch reports correctly. But almost immediately, it will revert back to only reporting physical activation, even on motion rules or using a dashboard control. When I click configure, correct behavior returns.
I don't really know what configure is doing. I thought it was to match the Hubitat device page GUI to the options exposed by the driver, but it must be doing something more. What could be causing this device to un-configure itself periodically?
