"Device in use by" listing won't show group or device added to group won't show up in "device in use by"
Did you select Done in the group app after making your selections? (And reload the device detail page if you already had it up, as this tab does not update dynamically.)
Hi, thanks for replying. Yes I selected done a couple of times and I even rebooted the hub. Additionally, since the device does not show up "in use by" my rule that includes the group does not turn the missing device on or off.
These are not necessarily related, but something still looks wrong.
Hit Refresh in the group to re-fetch the device list from the hub to see if that helps. As always, hit Done to save you changes. You might consider a reboot with the advanced "rebuild database..." option selected, but a regular reboot is unlikely to change anything here.

Try creating a "group" in Room Lighting instead? Groups and Scenes should work but is no longer receiving active development, so it's probably a better option than spending more time on this one.
I can give that a try. It will take some time as there are about 200 devices in that group. Is there a short cut to copying these devices?

There's no hard limit I know of, but that is by far the most I've ever heard. Can you split things into a few smaller groups to see if that helps?
It sounds bad, but the only time I use the groups, either ZEDwave or ZIGbee is to turn them all ON or all OFF. It works quite well for the morning ALL ON and the night ALL OFF rule. All my other rules use just a few devices with conditions etc. The issue arose when I substituted a ZEDwave switch that was acting up with a ZIGbee switch and used the replace feature during the pairing.
