Good day, everybody!
When attempting to update firmware with my C7, the app hangs at the loading stage. This occurs with both the Aeotec and Zoos devices I've tried so far. Here's an image of where it hangs and the system log for that time. I will be greatly appreciative of any knowledge that may get me looking in the right direction to solve this.
Thanks.
Are the devices S2? I could never get the updates to work with S2 (tried aeotec / zooz devices), but using "no security" worked for me.
.ZIP is not one of the supported firmware file types.
From the documentation:
https://docs.hubitat.com/index.php?title=Device_Firmware_Updater
Supports securely joined devices and firmware file types HEX, OTZ, BIN, and GBL.
Perhaps the firmware file you need will be found inside the .zip if if you expand it.
I believe at some point I had the DFU hang, and the solution was to remove the DFU app and reinstall. The firmware file will still exist on the hub’s file system when you reinstall DFU.

Thank you for pointing out that zip is not supported. The OTZ files were compressed within and are working, albeit very slowly. You got me on track!

I'll give that a try if I run into further issues. Thanks for sharing your experience!
