Came here tonight via search because once again, one of my devices didn't turn off as expected and I thought: I'll bet Hubitat has an update.
I started by going into the Google Home app and tried to turn off the device. It acted like it was going to work, then reported it was still on (correct).
Next I went to the device in Hubitat web (and yep, there's an update), tapped off, and nothing happened. Tapped the update notification, and the light turned off.
I've been seeing this behavior for a while but like others posted here I thought it was unlikely that it was related.
It has been stated numerous times that the hub is not affected by the availability of an update. If it was affected your hub would have stopped working 3 days ago.
In this case it sounds like A Device had lost connection or had interference and needed a minute to reconnect.
@bobbyD We really need to close this thread and label it as false (or fact checked).
I'm redacting my sarcastic comment here. I was frustrated with @thebearmay but that's not the right approach. I didn't say it was directly related, I noted symptoms I've been seeing and a recent event.

If you PM me the hub id, I can check the engineering logs. Something's up if things stop working.
