Detect dog barking?

I want to detect when my dog barks. How do I do this? I have Alexa, Google, Apple Home. Or any other way to do it?

Use case: trigger a dog barking deterrent device when the dog barks (preferably when the dog barks more than an allowed amount, but that's probably not doable I'm guessing).

Alexa has a dog bark detection that you could set up a routine from there. Until they take that feature away to.

I use one of these for a neighbor's late-night barker. Seems to work fairly well, though I did 3d print a megaphone housing for it to extend the range. Now he barks on the other side of his home at his other neighbor.
