Denon and Zone 2 Source Input Control

Hello all,

I am wondering if the Denon app can control the source input on Zone 2 as well as Main Zone. I need independent control of the source input on both zones.

Yes, you can do that. When you create a virtual device and assign the "Denon AVR" driver to it manually, you can the configure the device to create zones 2 and 3, which the hub will create as child devices for you. Source input can be set on the main, zone 2 or zone 3 devices independently.

Hello,

I have a connection to the Denon. However, I am having trouble getting all of my inpurt sources to show up in the list of supported sources. In particular, CBL/SAT which is really my main computer. The driver is responding well to volume changes and subitting source changes; however, when I change the source on my iPhone using the "AVR Maestro" app, the input source in the device control panel is not being updated. Also, do I really need a wired ethernet connection as stated in the "Device Compatibility" list.
