Thinking about moving from Vera to Hubitat, is the rules interface similar to Vera's was also wondering if there a sample or demo rules engine to view prior to diving into a new system
Thanks

Not aware of a demo and doubt there is one, but there's overview information on RM4 on their wiki:
https://docs.hubitat.com/index.php?title=Rule-4.0
Some examples also on YouTube if you search for Hubitat Rule Machine 4.0.
Its been a while since I moved from Vera. Hubitat has more (and different) rules than I remember with Vera. The entries are different than Vera but I believe the capabilities are much greater.
Hubitat uses "Apps" for different capabilities.
Hubitat has 30+ apps and the community has many more than that available for you to use.
Some of the "built in apps" are:
"Thermostat Scheduler"
"Amazon Skill" very easy integration with Alexa.
etc. You can see the full list on the Hubitat documentation pages.
Then there is "Rule Machine". Rule Machine is a very powerful application that allows you to build either simple or complex "rules".
Each Rule is initiated by a "trigger" or "triggers" These are events that will initiate the rule. i.e. "door opens".
From there it can perform "actions" i.e. "turn on foyer light"
And/Or you can have conditional statements i.e. if time NOT between sunrise and sunset turn on foyer light.
So I would say in the jump from Vera to Hubitat the rules interface is not like Vera. However in my experience if you had no issue with Vera you will be able to pickup Hubitat quickly.
Thanks for the input
