Delete old devices from log

I have logs for devices that I do not have anymore - and some of them are three years old or the like. How do I remove the device reference.

I did search for this topic, and practically many of the responses indicated that it will be purged eventually, but old device names are still at the top of the log display. Just that I want to clean up all of these device indicators.

If you do a restore from backup, there's now an option to purge the logs. That'll also clean the database. Previously you would do a new backup, then do a restore of the backup you just did. I think there's now a way to do that in one step.

Correction, this was part of 2.3.7. when doing a reboot you can purge old logs.

No, I got it wrong, was part of the last 2.3.7 update.
