I am following up on this thread: Dashboard Status Feedback Lag/Inconsistency
The SUMMARY:
There is inconsistency on how the feedback of lights being dimmed off/on is show in the dashboard.
- Notice the delay when turning ON (should give instant color feedback that the icon has indeed been clicked).
- Notice no delay when turning OFF (as expected!; the delay only happens to the brightness status slider as expected.)
So the ON feedback should function in the same way. Tile should turn yellow right away, and the actual brightness level feedback should come once dimming stops.
If the user is not physically there to see the light being turned ON, he instinctively wants to click the button again, assuming it did not go through. However, this then results in the light going OFF.
Are there plans to fix this? Are there any devs watching this who can chime in?
