Dashboard Links not responding

Hello all,

I am just getting started in Hubitat and am having my first problem. The dashboard links are not responding. I understand that you have to select them over in apps but they are not doing anything.
I checked the logs and see this error:
groovy.lang.MissingMethodException: No signature of method: genericZWavePlusSceneSwitch.push() is applicable for argument types: (java.lang.String) values: [1]

TIA

Welcome to the Hubitat forums!

When you say "links" do you mean one of the icons (templates) that are on the dashboard? (like this )

If so, what is the device (presumably some type of Zwave switch?) and what dashboard template did you use for this device (button, switch, etc).

Yes. That is exactly right. It is a ge switch. I do have control of it in devices.

Have you exposed the switch to the dash you made?

And when i set-up the dashboard it assigned the tile as a switch.

Is the switch showing properly in the tile properties?

I'm on a similar train of thought to @neonturbo, the error looks like you are trying to use a button template for what may be a switch device. Can you provide two screenshots: the device page, showing the commands at the top of the screen, plus on the dashboard a screenshot of the tile edit screen for the tile you are having an issue with, like @rlithgow1 is questioning.

Boy do i feel dumb. My only excuse is i was super tired yesterday from traveling all week. I got home and had received the hub and wanted to try it out. Yesterday was my first day working with it.
I changed it to switch and it works properly.
On a more positive note. I was able to create a simple program that turns on the outside lights at sunset and shuts off 300 minutes later. I also downloaded the switch control program and made one switch control a different one with a double tap.
So as day one goes I'd say i got pretty far.

Thanks for the help. Im excited to learn and contribute to the community when i can.
Now about why i can't upload a pic...
