I like the feature to require a pin for changing the HSM or Mode status when using a dashboard tile. I like the overlay that pops open requiring a selecting of which mode or hsm state; and the additional pin overlay. I am able to style each overlay, and I like to keep it simple.
I have played around with the Virtual Keyboard apps and drivers. And while very powerful, it's overkill for my simple need. I know there is also a basic version; but I would like to keep this mostly native, if possible. Here is what I'd like:
- Using the native HSM or Modes; with their respective dash tiles.
- Clicking a tile opens which HSM or Mode state to arm.
- Clicking a state opens the pin overlay.
All native to this point...
- I am unable to manage codes used in the tile. It only accepts the pin created when the dashboard was created. It would be great if it implemented with Lock Manager.
- There is no logging of what occurred. I was hoping to have multiple users; each "armed" (lol) with their own pin; and a log of "who" did "what", "when".
Is there a way to tie these two (three?) together (dash pin, lock codes, logging)?
If not, am I chasing a rabbit by trying to develop something simple that at least connects the native PIN code inputs to the log?
Thanks for reading.
