Dashboard has a tile with "unknown" and a "?" icon

I am virtually brand new to Hubitat and have done sufficient beard-pulling over some frustrations.

Presently, I have a tile with "unknown, with with a circled question mark. Tapping it does nothing. How do I find out what it is?

Click the three dots on the top right corner. That should open a dialog where you set the device and template to use.

It may be that, when you were adding tiles, you tapped “Add Tile” without selecting a device.
