Hello brand new here, and just got the Hubitat. So far I have one Door Look /Kwikset Z-Wave. To pair it is easy in the device settings the lock and unlock function works .
How can I get this commands on to the dashboard
In the Apps i have installed Hubitat Dashboard, Button Controllers, Google Home and Z-Wave Polling
I do not see any thing in Google home or in the Hubitat dashboard . What simple thing I'm doing wrong here.
You need to tell your Dashboard what devices are potential occupants of the dashboard.
Apps, Dashboard, pick your dashboard, and then select the device.
Then scroll to the bottom and click Local LAN Link.
In the upper right corner are three dots. Click that and the Menu slides out. At the bottom, select your device from the dropdown list. Then pick Lock from the Templates. Click the Green Update Tile and the tile will appear.
Click on the 3 dots within the tile itself to edit the tile added in the previous step.
At a very high level, it's similar steps for Google. You have to tell the Hub what to give to Google. Then you have to tell Google what to do with it.
