While setting up a new system - I was asked to create dashboards for each room.
I was working on a laptop, but the user only accesses from a phone.
Each dashboard I created, during autofill would layout to the width of my device. I would create a dashboard of specific devices, autofill, then had to re-adjust every tile so it would fit the user phone.
There are 2 ways to improve this -
A) during autofill, a question could be asked prior to the actual autofill asking 'Take default col/row?" and offer to allow defining the size of the dashboard
B) in the dashboard app, allow a setting for all new dashboards to set Column and Row.
I think B is the best option. By allowing an override of the default dashboard size here, it is out of the way, but available and affects very little for future dashboard work.
