I have a Rule with this line:
ledEffectAll(3, vNotificationColor(0), 10, 255) on Laundry Room Lights Main Dimmer IB, Office Downlights Dimmer IB
When I go to edit it (e.g., to change the LED effect), there is no initial option to edit any parameter. Instead, initially, this is what I see:
To actually edit any of the 4 parameters, I first have to create new "dummy" parameter and accept it as "Done". After that, I get proper Edit and Delete parameter fields, like this (the "A" first parameter is the dummy I created, not yet deleted):
The problem is not limited to this one rule -- it exists for ALL of my rules that include a custom command (at least for Inovelli Blue devices).
Very annoying.
This problem occurs with 2.4.0.133 and 2.3.xx on a C-8 Pro.
I will look into it. Thanks.

I see what's going on. If you hit 'Add another parameter' but don't do so, then hit Done with Action, it comes back to that same spot again, which is what you showed in the first screenshot. It's missing any prompt beyond the 'parameter type' pulldown, and missing anything like 'Cancel new parameter'. It's a valid UI path but with poor signage, and no U Turns allowed. Perhaps that could use some fixing...

Yep, I agree, it could use some fixing…
Also, to be clear, my first screenshot shows the UI before doing anything with respect to the parameters.
No, that screen can only show after 'Add another parameter' has been clicked. But, no point debating what happens, as that is easily determined by inspection. In fact, since your screenshot shows existing parameters, you'd already hit 'Add another parameter' a number of times. Once you hit it, it won't go back to 'normal' until a parameter is added (which could be deleted). As I said above, valid path but lousy UI guidelines.

My RM apparently works differently than your RM. Starting point:
I then click on the ledEffectAll rule (and do NOTHING else) and get this:
At this point, in order to edit any of the existing 4 parameters, I have to add a dummy parameter (e.g., the string "A"), and only then do I get to this view, with "Edit parameter" and "Delete parameter" choices:
I then have to delete the dummy parameter (either before or after editing the actual parameter that I wanted to change in the first place).
Not an important bug, but quite annoying.
