I had already tried that. It wasn't turned on, so I turned it on. Didn't help. Turned it back off, still nothing. Thanks for the suggestion tho. I'm kinda waiting for the next update to see if something went awry on the last one.
I'm noticing something odd, too. The code you provided in your example above demonstrates this, rendering differently for me on 2.3.3 than on 2.3.4 on two different hubs (ignore the slight difference in sizing). Using a pared-down version of an app I wrote for the docs a while back, I also see the same:

2.3.3 (section title displayed as expected):
I'm guessing most people haven't noticed this since lots of apps either use multiple pages or explicitly define them instead of relying on the simple single-page behavior, but this was probably an accident.

Boy I’m glad someone else was able to duplicate the problem. Now I know I haven’t lost my mind in spite of what my wife says.

Just upgraded to .119 and it looks like the problem was fixed. Titles now showing up again.
