My old hub recently stopped booting up so I bought a new C8 pro. I need to create some virtual switches that will allow Alexa to change modes. But I forget how to do this, it's been years.

Add Device, then select Virtual.

If I remember correctly, Alexa will not see virtual SWITCHES. You need to make them CONTACT SENSORS.
