Corrupt Database

Hi,

I have seem to run into this issue immediately after performing updates in Hubitat Package Manager and then performing a platform upgrade. The reason for logging into my 2+ year working Hubitat install was to add a zigbee device, which worked fine. I then updated the two items above.

I cannot seem to get the local backups to work despite having power cycled it for a few minutes. Reaching out for help before I go the route of a hard reset.

Hubitat Diagnostic Tool

Platform version:

2.3.9.143

Hardware version:

Rev C-7

Diagnostics tool version:

1.1.113

After restoring for what feels like the 100th time it seems to have finally took. Feel free to close. Or if the team would like to look at my logs I would be happy to put my time out there.

Did you also just recently update the platform and do you know what version you were on before?

I did actually update the platform and I was on 2.3.6.146

I dont know when version it started exactly but before 2.3.8.140 there was an issue with a runaway log that could cause false database corrupted errors due to the log getting so large. That may have been your issue. Now that you are updated it should have turned that of and cleared the log.

Thank you! Crossing my fingers that the update fixed it.

Can you PM me the hub id? I can check the engineering logs on the hub.

Best I can tell is that automatic database version update failed. First time I see this happen, and I'll look into it. The good news is once the database is restored, it uses the new version going forward, and the same issue is not about to occur.

Thank you!
