I wouldn't if the bulbs weren't the best I've used. Good at making both (super) warm and cool temperatures across a variety of levels (something I've found lacking in others, like Sengled), plus a rock-solid hub with a documented, local (or cloud) API you can use to integrate with other systems--like Hubitat. I do wish they cost a bit less, but it's not too crazy anymore (the color bulbs were once $60 USD and the only way you could control them was with the app) and you can occasionally find them on sale or with refurb bulbs that, as far as I can tell with the ones I've used so far, are like new. There are a few things they may wish to add to remain competitive, like a high-lumen A19-style bulb.
I didn't mind the one LIFX bulb I bought, but I'm not about to fill my house with Wi-Fi devices, and it's not much different in price. I am extremely disappointed in the Gledopto RGBWW controller I bought (again, Hue makes better whites, though they have the slight edge of making both the controller and the strip, plus it's a bit slow to respond), and I tried some Ikea TrΓ₯dfri bulbs for the price but was equally disappointed (why did they make firmware that only supports xy? And they're also very slow).
If anyone can find something with equally good light characteristics at a better price, I'm all ears.
