Contact Sensors not showing up in Device List

Howdy all,

Still a newbie with Hubitat... been a LONG time SmartThings user though so I have plenty of experience in the HA world.

Yesterday I moved a number of my Z-wave and Zigbee contact sensor from my ST hub to Hubitat. These devices show up in my device list when I'm connected to my hub and looking at it on my computer at home. However, they do NOT show up in my device list on my phone.

I moved a few switches and outlets yesterday as well and those are showing up, but not the contact sensors. I've tried restart the app, logging out and back in, and rebooting my phone. I've ever cleared data/cache for the Hubitat app.

What am I missing?

Are you looking at the Room Feature in the mobile app, or going to Connect to Hub | Devices ? (you'll want the latter)

I think the room feature... I'm hitting the "devices" button in the middle of the icons at the bottom,

Yeah, that's still transitional, and will only show lights and switches. Use the other route to see all of your devices.

Okay, I don't see a "room feature" anywhere... is this something I need to enable?

The devices icon at the bottom of the first screen of the mobile app is actually the Rooms transitional implementation and is automatically populated by the lights and switches that you have designated rooms for.

Oh, okay... I get it. Helps if I actually read carefully.

So, I need to do Connect to Hub, which can only be done locally or by paying for Remote Admin to see the full list of devices.

If I have the devices in a dashboard though, can I see the dashboard (and therefore devices) when I'm not at home?

Dashboards are available whether you are local or out on the cloud.

Alright. When I get back home I'll work on setting up a dashboard... still a newbie there so I'll have to play around a bit. Thank you very much for you help.

(Once I get this up and running and see that it works I'll update this as a solution... just want to verify first)
