@PunchCardPgmr I've uploaded my virtual driver. It still needs a rule to mirror an actual contact or motion sensor. You might find some benefit in a simple rule to open and close this virtual contact depending on the state of a real contact. Then you can reverse the action of the switch. It's still probably is not what you wanted from the other thread since this is still a virtual device.
I'm considering an app to create and manage the devices. I'm not a formally educated programmer so I've already bitten off more than I can chew.
