I can not seem to control my HE while I am on WiFi but not at my home

You cannot access the UI outside of your LAN directly. You can however access the dashboard using the newly released app or via the cloud link.

If you need to access the UI remotely you can setup a VPN. DO NOT simply enable a port forward as this is a security issue

Controlling devices can be done via a cloud dashboard while you are away from home.

You can also remote in to your PC and do everything with HE.

There are many ways to “remote in” to a PC, not all of which are secure. @halfrican.ak’s suggestion to use a VPN is probably the best and easiest one if full access to the hub’s admin interface is required.
