I have a couple basic rules that control my exterior garage lights with a conflict between the rules. One rule is a simple "lights on at sunset and off three hours later." The other rule is triggered by a sensor on the garage door which turns on the lights when the door opens and then turns them off 5 minutes later. I'd like to find a way that the lights stay on during the three hour period from sunset even if the garage door triggers the lights
Maybe a capture and restore with the garage door rule?

On the second rule that's triggered by a sensor, you could add a Required Expression. Something like: NOT Time between Sunset and Sunset +180 minutes. That will keep the second rule from running at all when the lights should be on from the first rule.
