Updated my hub to latest. Tried the new local backup that includes the radios. Clicking on the 'Create and Download' only creates, it doesn't download. You then have to go to list of backups and download. No big deal, just a little confusing.
That may depend on your browser then. It works fine on my PC and Tablet using Vivaldi and Firefox(Although it takes a lot longer for the download prompt to save the file than the original local backups used to take)
I was using Safari. Previously with the regular local backup one click created and downloaded.
I will check again tomorrow.
There definitely some weirdness. If I do a local backup database only it does the backup and stores to my computer. But the little rotating gizmo that says it's doing it never goes away as if it isn't finished. I check my computer and it is done. I have to refresh the browser window to clear things.
If I do the complete backup the confirmation popup where you select yes or no never goes away without a browser refresh. Then the file is created but only on the hub. I can then download from there to my computer.
Using Safari, so there is some issues.
It worked very well for both my hubs (C7 and C8P) with Google Chrome browser (this is the only browser I am using).
To be fixed in Safari (and perhaps other browsers where the issue occurs) in the next build.
Whew, I couldn’t believe that I was the ONLY ONE to see that. ![]()
Same here. I've just been refreshing the link for a couple of weeks to stop the spinning backup once I see it has downloaded.
