Cloud services issue? Dashboards, geofence

I noticed last night my geofence quit working, but also dashboards in the app when not on wifi are not working either.

In debugging in the app, it looks like there is occasionally an error connecting to cloud.hubitat.com

Also Alexa is unable to control any devices..

Well that's weird.

I poked around with the network tests ping, speed test everything worked.

I hit check for updates under settings and it just goes out to lunch.

I checked on my other hub and it quickly responded with no updates.

On whim I rebooted my c8 now everything seems like it's working fine. Weirdness.

Sounds like the DNS went to hell in a handbasket and the reboot fixed it.

I'm not sure. From the network ping tool I was able to ping by name and by ip. I could see it resolving stuff in my router too. I actually went there first to make sure something wasn't getting blocked.

I wonder if there's some sort of webhook service that the hub uses to communicate with the cloud that crashed.

I'll chalk it up to a fluke but keep my eyes open for it to happen again for sure.
