Cloud Backup Fails v2.3.8.140

Twice now since being a 2.3.8.140 (C8) the cloud backup has failed at its scheduled time. Something about the Z-WAVE backup. First time I could restart the hub, perform a manual backup and be on my way. Last night it failed and this morning I knew there was a problem when none of my morning automations had run. Worst yet, I could not access the web page of the hub. I was able to get to the Diagnostic page to do a reboot.

For now I think I have to disable cloud backups until there is a solution.

Speaking a a solution, is this a know issue?

It's a known issue that is being worked. No ETA on a fix though, as it has been ongoing for quite some time.

They have fixed a number of ways this is caused, but obviously not 100% of them.

In the meantime I would recommend doing cloud backups less frequently, and during a time where you will notice if it dies so it can be easily restarted.

I'm sure they will get it fully fixed at some point though.

Thanks for the quick reply. I had this on a previous firmware version and hoped it had been fixed. I'll take your advise and change my cloud backup frequency.

You also can try to change to a different day and time.
( some people have said this has helped )
