I was wondering if the Hubitat community has a policy for using the forums to buy / sell / trade home automation devices. I have some stuff I would like to get rid of but don't want to break any rules.
A few have asked and it's been no problem.
I would imagine if it doesn't happen too often and doesn't cause any drama it'll be fine.
Now... whatcha got?!
2 Lutron Caseta dimmers and 2 Pico remotes. While I love the reliability of the Caseta platform, the significant other prefers a switch that looks and behaves like a normal switch. I'm currently using Wink 2 for the Caseta support but will be moving to Hubitat as soon as I get the replacement switches installed. I prefer to stick to Z-Wave and Zigbee going forward.
I am with your significant other 100%. I like switches to look and act like switches. If I need to read the little button on it to figure it out, it is a fail.
I travel a LOT for work, and that actually impacts my hotel selection. lol. If I go to one and it has 'fancy' hard to use switches, they are off the list for next visit.
I'm interested, what are you looking to get for them?
Oof. I hear you on this.
We often stay at a hotel that has a (digital) master-control switch right next to another (digital) switch that will turn on the entryway light. If you want to turn on the entryway light, you first have to turn on the master power, and then the entry light.
It's easily my favorite hotel to stay at, but that was a pain to experience the first time we stayed there!
Paging the Caseta fanboys! I'm a new convert - they are awesome. I wish I needed 2 extra!
