Cielo Breez

Just acquired the Cielo Breez Max and am planning on switching from my Sensibo thermostat controllers to the Cielo. Was using a custom integration for Sensibo and was wondering if there is something for the Cielo? Supposedly, Cielo works with ST and am hoping someone has a working integration to HE.

A search of previous forum topics using cielo breez as a keyword doesn’t look promising.

@LGNEO That is cloud based. You could use a Remotec zxt-600. Though the Sensibo can be integrated to hubitat if you want to stick with it.

Tried looking for the Remotec zx-600 within HE and there was only one thermostat which is z-wave, Cielo does not use ZW.
Regarding Sensibo, is it not cloud based as well? It uses Wi-Fi only!?

The zxt-600 driver is bullt in. It is a z-wave to IR converter that works with most AC systems. The new version is the 800. Or as said, use the community sensibo drivers.

Can run on usb power or battery. (pair it with usb power and it will become a repeater as well)

IIRC there is a working integration with Hubitat for sensibo. Or at least there was at some point.

For the purposes of this discussion, that’s the detail that matters most.

Edit: Theoretically, Hubitat can integrate with a device like Cielo Breez locally or through the cloud. But only if there’s an API for Hubitat to access.
