Chromecast integration across subnets?

Hubitat on one VLAN and Google Nest hubs on another.

Using Opnsense as firewall and router.

I installed the mcast helper on Opnsense and the Hubitat Chromecast helper is able to discover the chromecast devices on the other subnet.
I have allowed the Hubitat device full access to the LAN where the Chromecasts are.

But I can't get any notification speech to work. I don't even see any traffic going to the Chromecast devices from the Hubitat hub.

Speech works fine to Chromecast device I placed on the same VLAN as the Hubitat hub.

Is there anyway to get this to work?

Yes, that's the mDNS helper I said I already installed. It allowed the Hubitat Chromecast helper to at least find the Google Nest hubs, but I'm not seeing any traffic sent to them when a notification goes out.
