Changing a parameter on a Z-Wave device

I am trying to change the ramp rate of a dimmer switch - at the level of the switch. I'm having trouble trying to send the change in parameter settings. I have changed the driver in the device that allows for simple parameter changes. Unfortunately, no parameters are being changed.

I'm trying to change the parameters on an Inovelli red dimmer scene device.

I have a very cumbersome workaround, I'm just wondering if somebody might be able to give me some advice on how to change these parameters through habitat.

My solution, involves me pairing the device to my home seer setup and using homeseer to change the parameter settings.

Are you using the Hubitat Inovelli driver or the Inovelli one? Generally the one from Inovelli does the job. You could also change to the Basic Zwave Tool driver make the parameter change and then change back to the Inovelli driver.

Try switching to the Inovelli one (https://support.inovelli.com/portal/en/kb/articles/hubitat-device-drivers) and see if it works better - many of the parameters are available in it as preferences.
